Chilled Semen Kits

When the male is available and fertile, it is possible to collect, chill and ship semen. This process is made simple and economical by CLONE technology. Chilled kits are available for use by owners, breeders and veterinarians.


Breeders can order this ready-to-use kit containing everything (see list below) needed to collect, prepare and ship semen. Upon arrival buffers should be removed and placed in freezer until time of use. Kits can be ordered well in advance of the time they are intended for use. The buffers can be removed from the kit and frozen for up to one year.


It is important to follow all instructions precisely during the collection and insemination process to maximize your success. If you have questions about any step in the process, please contact us.


All kits are shipped via Fed-Ex, standard over night, unless requested otherwise by purchaser or unavailable from Fed-Ex. Orders must be received by 2pm EST for same day shipping. Any orders received after 2pm EST will be processed the next business day. Orders placed on Friday will not be shipped until Monday unless indicated by the purchaser. Actual shipping charges will be calculated and added to your total after order is received.  These will be included in the confirmation email.

*We highly recommend centrifuging the semen (which you can request to be done at your local veterinarian’s office) to separate the sperm from the prostate fluid.


It is in the best interest of both the stud and bitch owners to have all arrangements made in advance of the expected breeding to ensure that the breeding opportunity is not missed. All shipping arrangements for semen, appointments with the veterinarian for collecting and inseminating, and any paperwork required by the association to which the dogs are registered should be discussed and prepared.
